Thank you for your interest in joining the Jacksonville Ospreys Baseball Club. The Ospreys will have a focus on a player/coach co-design approach. Whereby, players will focus on their professional development to prepare for the MLB Draft. Our program will have a heavy focus on hitting and the expectation to be involved in the community by signing autographs, take pictures with fans and youth, and engaging in various community driven activities that will increase the brand of the team and you as a player!
Jacksonville, NC has a rich military culture that embraces and is focused on the most respected fighting force in the world - United States Marine Corps. Our logo is inspired by the honor, courage, and commitment of Marines and the Osprey MV-22s that frequently fly over our home field and city.
Additionally, Jacksonville is minutes away from two of the best beaches in the Southeastern U.S. according to Usnews.com and USA Today - Topsail Beach and Emerald Isle, NC! Swimming, boating, jet skiing, fishing, kayaking, or just relaxing at the beach, you'll definitely have your pick of some of the best shorelines around! (Not to mention that ALL Ospreys baseball players receive free ice cream all summer long from Sweet Spot of Emerald Isle, NC - 2nd busiest parlor in NC and one of the busiest ice cream parlors in the nation with over 50 flavors to choose from!) We can also assist with job placement, should you desire to work during your stay.

Some key things to note for interested players are:
- Players will need their own transportation
- We would need to know your estimated start date (understanding playoffs etc. can run later which isn't an issue), and what your definite end date for the league/team will be.
- Will you need a host family? (We have very receptive and great host families lined up to welcome you to our community!)
- Player fees are $899 for position players and $499 for pitchers. Players will be required to put a deposit to be added to the official roster.
